Contribution to the study of the biodiversity of Mozambique, Provinces of Sofala, Manica, Tété and Zambezia. The present note aims to list Coleoptera belonging to the Tenebrionidae family collected in the central area of Mozambique. The note presents the ecology of several species based on observations made in the field. New taxa: Distretus (Distretus) cangyi n. sp., Dysgena magnusoculis n. sp., Heterotarsus mozambicum n. sp., Ceropria manicaensis n. sp., Argobrachium chatanayi n. sp., Strongylium miossecae n. sp., Strongylium noetanguyi n. sp.
