The Anthaxia (Anthaxia) funerula (Illiger, 1803) species-group is revised and 11 new species and four new subspecies are described and illustrated. All species of the group are illustrated and keyed and all available bionomical and distributional data are presented as well as the list of all specimens studied. A short catalogue of the species is included.
