Once developed only for the British region, the key "Guide to the Identification of Genera of Chironomid Pupal Exuviae occuring in Britain and Ireland" is extended and adapted for a use in the Central European region and adjacent areas. The text is illustrated by many drawings. Furthermore, a key to subfamilies of chironomid pupal exuviae is included.
