Die Schmetterlingsfauna des Rhein-Erft-Kreises. Teil 1: Tagfalter und Widderchen (Lep., Papilionidae, Pieridae, Lycaenidae, Nymphalidae, Hesperiidae et Zygaenidae)
The butterflies and moths of the Rhine-Erft district (North Rhine-Westphalia) to the west of Cologne have been continuously researched since 1987. Furthermore, the historical sources and museum collections have been analysed. Propagation charts and - depending on the amaount of data available - flight time diagrams have been prepared for a total of 84 species of the butterfly families and the burnets. Regional causes of endangerment are defined, the endangerment of individual species are especially described and possibilities of protection are discussed.
