This work hopes to provide an overview of the genus Ericusa. By focusing on the extant six species comprising this Australian endemic group, we aim to account for a wide range of morphotypes and intergrades within the recognised species and lower-level taxa, based on the study of 4000 specimens. Additionally, a full account of the numerous synonyms as well as forma and variation names assigned to members of this genus throughout its taxonomic history is provided. Form names and other informal names are used herein for the purpose of presenting and discussing various phenotypes and are not considered taxonomically relevant.
