Archivolva cheripoda n. sp. is described from North Malé Atoll, Maldives, and compared with its four congeners. The term cheripodium is proposed for a newly discovered organ formed by the front portion of the foot in Ovulids. New taxon: Archivolva cheripoda n. sp.
