This book covers the whole molluscan species diversity of the Easter Mediterranean, namely the Aegean and Adriatic Sea, presenting 1344 extant and 2 fossil species belonging to 237 families. This overwhelming diversity includes all the most tiny and little species of the gastropods and bivalves, some of which have never been figured before.
