Schulte, H. & Weinzierl, A.: Beiträge zur Faunistik einiger Wasserinsektenordnungen (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Coleoptera, Trichoptera) in Niederbayern [Contributions to the faunistic of some orders of water-insects (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Coleoptera, Trichoptera) in Lower Bavaria]. The surveying area and its waters are described and the results of approximately 10 years collecting are compiled for four orders of aquatic insects. The records of 68 stoneflies, 157 waterbeetles and 173 caddisflies are shown in species-lists; apart from faunistic remarks some taxonomic, zoogeographic and ecological hints are given for a number of selected species. 39 taxa of mayflies are discussed. One stonfly and seven caddisfly species are new within the Bavarian fauna; Crunoecia kempnyi Morton and Protonemura austriaca Theischinger have been recorded for the first time in Germany.
